Comment about mixing vegetables and fruits
There has for many years been an idea that it is not good to mix fruit and vegetables. The argument is that the enzymes for digestion are different in fruits and vegetables and might cause digestive problems. I have never had any problems with my digestive system after mixing fruit and vegetables. Whatever I feel for I mix into my morning shake. However, I have a strong digestive system, and if you believe you are more delicate, it would be smart to start with fewer ingredients and see how it works for you.
1-2 x Bananas (As ripe as possible)
Sprouts – small handful
Spinach or Kale – big handful
1 x Beetroot
1-2 x Broccoli
10-15 g Ginger
1/2 Kiwi fruit
1 tsp Coconut oil
1 tsp Tahini
1 tsp Honey
1/2 tsp Turmeric (mix with some black pepper)
10 – 15 g Dark Chocolate
2 x Oranges
1 tbsp Probiotics (liquid)
1 tbsp Flax seed oil
125 ml Oat milk
125 ml Red Grape Juice
- Add ingredients to a blender and mix.
